What is Women of Color Empowered?

WoCE is a luncheon organized by the Northwest Asian Weekly Foundation that is held three times a year. It celebrate the wonderful accomplishments of women who have worked hard to break through the glass ceiling. Each luncheon has a theme,  such as  women in law, women in corporations, women in the media — you name it!  If women of color have blazed new trails, they deserve to be honored.

In addition to eating delicious Chinese food, attendees will have the opportunity to participate as they ask the honorees questions like, “How do you balance work life with family life?” and “What have been your most surprising obstacles in your field?”

Come to network!  Come to see old friends!  Come to make new ones!  (Men are welcome — and encouraged — to come, too!)
